Russia’s COVID-19 death toll exceeds 290,000

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 29,558 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, the country’s Operational Headquarters said in a statement.

Report informs that the total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 10,046,454.

To date, a total of 290,604 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 1,121 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 8,769,916.
