Over the past day, medical experts recorded 93,026 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
Also, more than 10,600 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized per day, 9.6% less than the day before.
The total number of registered cases in the country has reached 16,685,850 since the pandemic onset.
To date, a total of 354,011 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 781 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 16,685,850.
More than 440.8 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 5.99 million lives, though unable to cope with 373.38 million patients, who managed to recover.
