Over the past day, medical experts recorded 51,231 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The total number of registered cases in the country has reached 17,191,300 since the pandemic onset.
To date, a total of 358,911 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 665 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 15,043,717.
More than 451.89 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 6.04 million lives, though unable to cope with 386.32 million patients, who managed to recover.
