Over the past day, medical experts recorded 34,442 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The total number of registered cases in the country has reached 17,518,699 since the pandemic onset.
To date, a total of 363,563 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 524 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 16,039,709.
More than 466.58 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 6.08 million lives, though unable to cope with 398.28 million patients, who managed to recover.
