Russia proposes to bury Lenin 100 years after his death

Baku. 13 November. REPORT.AZ/ The Russian Government was asked to create a special Commission to determine the future of Vladimir Lenin's body, Report informs citing Russia Today.

Deputy of the legislative assembly of the Leningrad Region Vladimir Petrov sent the appeal to the cabinet.

The Deputy states that the body must be buried by arranging a farewell funeral procession on the centenary of his death in 2024.

Petrov believes that exact wax or rubber-polymer copy of his body should be placed in the mausoleum in order not to violate the established order and tradition.

"The positive consequences of this step include significant budget savings that arise from the completion of expensive procedures to preserve Vladimir Lenin's body in the current state," said the Deputy.
