Russia is expeling a charge d'affaires of Lithuania in a tit-for-tat measure, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, according to Report.
The Russian Federation reserves the right to take additional measures in connection with the unfriendly steps of Lithuania, the ministry said.
Russian side "in connection with the hostile line of Lithuania in humanitarian relations" freezes the activities of the cultural center of the Lithuanian diplomatic mission in Moscow.
The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry announced earlier that it would send Russia's Charge d'Affaires Sergey Ryabokon.
