Russia expelling 4 employees of Austrian embassy in Moscow

Russia is expelling four Austrian embassy employees in a tit-for-tat measure, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Report informs referring to Russian media.

“As a response, four employees of the Embassy of Austria in the Russian Federation have been declared persona non grata. They must leave the country by the end of February 23,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.

The Austrian ambassador to the Foreign Ministry was given a corresponding note by the Russian side.

Earlier, Austria declared the presence of four Russian diplomats in the country undesirable.
