Russia denies reports of efforts to restore diplomatic ties with Georgia

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has categorically denied media reports suggesting that Moscow is working towards re-establishing diplomatic ties with Tbilisi.

Report informs via Russian media that the ministry dismissed these claims as "nonsense" and "baseless speculation" propagated by Georgian opposition resources.

"We see no point in commenting on various kinds of 'nonsense' spread by Georgian opposition resources," the Russian foreign ministry said.
