Russia declares military attache in Slovak embassy in Moscow persona non-grata

Baku. 13 December. REPORT.AZ/ Russia has declared a military attache in the Slovak embassy in Moscow persona non-grata, giving him two days to leave the country, Russia’s foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"The Ambassador of Slovakia to Moscow presented a note on the issue on December 11," she said.

Slovakia said earlier this month it had expelled the Russian diplomat after information from military intelligence showed he had engaged in espionage activities in the NATO and European Union member country.
