The “War Mapper” resource, an open-source intelligence agency, has released new data on the territorial situation in Ukraine, Report informs.
According to the data, as of the end of February 2024, Russia occupied 17.51% (+0.02%) of Ukraine.
"This represents a net gain in Russia's favour of 137.95 km² since the end of January, the largest net gain for Russia since January of 2023," the agency wrote on X.
The data also reveals that Ukraine suffered territorial losses in the first four months of last year, but managed to regain some ground from May to October, especially in the summer months.
