Russia announces resumption of military operations in Ukraine

The Russian Armed Forces have resumed military operations after the ceasefire ended, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, Report informs.

Russia announced a V-Day ceasefire, which was in effect from 12:00 a.m. Moscow time on May 8 (9:00 p.m. GMT on May 7) to 12:00 a.m. Moscow time on May 11 (9:00 p.m. GMT on May 10).

Earlier, Russia had offered Ukraine to resume direct talks on May 15 in Istanbul.
