Roadside checks carried out at Moscow entrance, exit

Checks are carried out on the roads at the entrance and exit from Moscow city, Report informs.

The military and police are checking vehicles heading to the capital of the Russian Federation.

Report observed inspections in the southwest of Moscow, in the Yasenevo district. The photographs and video footage confirm that the entrance to the city is functioning normally, but strict military and police checkpoints have been set up there and armored vehicles have been summoned.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin denied information about blocking traffic into and out of Moscow.

"There are many reports of traffic blocking at the entrances and exits of the city. This information is not true. Due to the increased measures for conducting inspections, there may be difficulties with traffic. There are no restrictions on entry and exit from the city," Sobyanin said, urging residents of the capital to remain calm.

On June 23, the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin accused the Russian Ministry of Defense of shelling his company's positions, and the next day he said that the PMC had taken control of all military facilities in Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh.

A counter-terrorist operation regime has been introduced to prevent possible terrorist attacks on the territory of Moscow and the Moscow Oblast.
