Raisi: Iran doesn’t avoid dialogue on nuclear program

Tehran doesn’t avoid dialogue on the nuclear program, but the question of the country’s progress should not depend on the opinion of Western states, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said, Report informs referring to IRNA.

He noted that Iran is not going to leave the negotiating table: “They said that we should sign an agreement and Iran’s problems would be resolved. Tehran declared its readiness for an honest dialogue.”

According to Raisi, he held a meeting on this issue with French President Emmanuel Macron in New York.

“I asked Macron and experts in New York to tell me which of our demands are illogical. Later they admitted that our words can be justified. We have never ruled out an honest dialogue,” Raisi said.
