Radio Liberty reporter dies in Kyiv missile attack

As a result of a rocket attack on Kyiv, the journalist of Radio Liberty Vera Girich has died, Vera's colleague Oleksandr Demchenko said, Report informs, citing foreign media.

According to him, Girich was in a residential building, which was hit by a shell. The woman's body was found under the rubble this morning.

The day before, at least two attacks on Kyiv were reported. The Kyiv mayor’s office reported that one of the rockets hit a 25-story residential building in Shevchenkivskyi District. As a result, 10 people were injured. Today, the mayor of Kyiv said that the body of one of the dead was pulled out from under the rubble.

Advisor to the Ukrainian Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko explained that the Russian military launched three missiles at once at the same target at the same time, so that it would be difficult to shoot them down. "One of the missiles aimed at Kyiv was intercepted by our air defense," he said.
