Putin speaks about his possible meeting with Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are soon going to agree on who will visit whom for a meeting, Report informs.

Putin said that the meeting was planned to be held even before the presidential elections in Türkiye, but they considered it untimely.

“We agreed that we would see each other, either he would come to us, or I would go to him - we'll see,” Putin said at a press conference.

He added that Erdogan invited him even before the elections, but it was decided not to do so, so that "no one speculates" on the topic of the visit on the eve of the elections in Türkiye, as it could be perceived as "some kind of attempt to influence the domestic political process ".

“Neither he nor I need it. We decided to reschedule our meeting, but we did not agree on the location - either here or in Türkiye. We'll see,” Putin said.
