Putin- Lukashenko meeting gets underway at Russian Museum

Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko to a working breakfast at the Russian Museum, Report informs referring to BelTA agency.

They will discuss bilateral relations and other topical issues.

Putin noted that he had the opportunity to talk with his Belarusian counterpart both on the evening of December 26 at an informal CIS summit and on the morning of December 27.

“In such an informal atmosphere, we will continue our communication in wonderful interiors,” he said. “We agreed that we will celebrate 2023 as the Year of the Russian Language. Therefore, meeting for a working breakfast at the Russian Museum would be most welcome. A good environment to talk about serious matters, including our bilateral relations. Although we are in constant contact, nevertheless, everyday life gives us a reason to discuss some issues and make the necessary decisions so that they are resolved more efficiently.”
