Putin explained his refusal to communicate with Poroshenko on phone

Baku. 5 December. REPORT.AZ/ Russian leader Vladimir Putin said that he was not responding to the attempts of the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, to talk with him by phone, because he does not intend to participate in his election campaign and the combination of the incident in the Kerch Strait, Report informs citing Interfax.

“The point is not that I simply shy away and do not want to talk with Petro Alekseevich, this is not the case,” Putin said commenting on the question of journalists about the failure to hold a telephone conversation with Poroshenko, which was requested by the Ukrainian side.

“The fact is that I don’t want to take part in his election campaign,” the Russian president explained.

He pointed out that Poroshenko skillfully creates crisis and provocative situations and shifts the blame on Russia, and then he wants to immediately demonstrate that he successfully solves the problems that have emerged.
