Russian President Vladimir Putin has described US President-elect Donald Trump as a smart and experienced politician during a press conference in Astana, according to Report.
"As far as I understand, the newly elected president (Trump - ed.) is still a smart man, already quite experienced," Putin said while answering journalists' questions.
The Russian leader believes that the Biden administration may be attempting to create difficulties for Trump in his relations with Russia. Putin noted that absolutely uncivilized means of struggle were used against the elected US president and suggested that Trump still faces dangers.
"...By the way, in my opinion, he is not safe even now," Putin emphasized, pointing out that there have been various cases in US history.
