Baku. 6 July. REPORT.AZ / Activists demanding the resignation of the Catholicon of all Armenians, Garegin II broke into Residence of the Patriarch in Echmiadzin in the morning, Report informs citing the Interfax.
Vahram Melikyan, the head of the press service of the office wrote on his Facebook page that the demonstrators "make ultimatum demands and show provocative behavior. They do not want to accept the calls to stop these unacceptable actions."
Meanwhile, the leader of the group demanding the resignation of the Catholicon, Karen Petrosyan told the media that they were attacked by Church Ministers.
"We will stand here and not leave until the Catholicon refuses his post," he added.
There are police at the place of the incident.
