Prosecutor of Kazakhstan's Mangistau region: 'We cannot put forward any versions of plane crash yet'

Transport Prosecutor of Kazakhstan's Mangistau region Abylabek Ordabayev has commented on the proposed versions of the causes of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash in Aktau during a briefing in Astana, Report informs.

Ordabayev noted that the specific cause of the plane crash is being investigated.

"There have been many versions since morning. The investigation has ordered several expert examinations, and at the moment, we cannot say anything until we receive the results. Today, neither we nor the investigation are putting forward any versions (about explosions or birds). The plane crashed on the territory of Kazakhstan, and the explosion of the oxygen tank is an obvious fact," he responded to a journalist's question about the possible version of a missile strike on the plane, which was put forward by authoritative media.
