Prosecutor General's Office: 217 children have died since outbreak of war in Ukraine

Russia's military intervention in Ukraine has so far killed 217 children and injured 391 others, Report informs, citing the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the war, the total number of children who suffered has reached 608.

The children were mostly injured in Donetsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia regions, Kyiv, Sumy, and Zhytomyr. According to the prosecutor's office, these figures are not the last, but the collection of information about children in the occupied and liberated territories of Ukraine continues.

Due to the bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces, 1,508 educational institutions were damaged, of which 102 were completely destroyed.
