A trilateral meeting was held between the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adilbek Kasimaliev, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, and Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers said, Report informs.
The meeting was held at a cross-border area of the three countries.
The parties noted that the meeting took place within the framework of previously reached agreements between the heads of the states regarding state border issues.
The prime ministers of three countries have stated that the countries have the potential to strengthen cooperation in trade, logistics, water and energy, cultural and humanitarian relations. In their opinion, the development of cross-border and interregional cooperation is an important component of collaboration.
Additionally, during the meeting, the parties noted the completion of the state border delimitation process between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and the exchange of ratification documents regarding the "Agreement on the State Border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan."
The December 4, 2024 agreement on the State Border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan emphasized the importance of completing the description of the remaining sections of the Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan state border, and working groups were tasked with preparing final documents in a short period.
