Prime Minister: Georgia backs regional dialogue for peace & stability

"Georgia supports a dialogue that will contribute to ensuring sustainable peace and stability in the region," Report's Georgian bureau reports that Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said this at a meeting with Armenian Police Chief Major General Vahe Ghazaryan, who is on an official visit to the country.

He expressed Georgia's readiness for active mediation between the two neighboring countries.

During the discussions, the successful mediation of the Georgian prime minister in the humanitarian agreement reached in June this year between Azerbaijan and Armenia was touched upon.

The two men also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.
