Prime Minister: Epidemiological situation stabilizes in Georgia

"The epidemiological situation in Georgia is about to stabilize," Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at a government meeting, Report informs.

He said the vaccination is the key way out of the situation.

"We call for everyone to get vaccinated. Our main task is to increase the number of vaccinated citizens to 2 million by the end of September," he said.

So far, the country has inoculated 1,164,402 people, with 780,948 (27.3%) receiving their first dose and the rest 383,454 (13.4%) getting both shots.
