Presidents of Russia, Iran talk over phone

President Russia Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi had a telephone conversation, Report informs via Russian media.

The presidents positively assessed bilateral relations and agreed to maintain contacts.

“Both sides positively assessed the level and dynamics of the development of Russian-Iranian relations. Issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, were discussed,” the Kremlin said in a press release.

The last time Putin and Raisi talked on the phone was on January 11. Back then, the topic of conversation was the deepening of Russian-Iranian energy cooperation.
