President of the Togolese Republic, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe Eyadema, has arrived in Astana on an official visit, Report informs with reference to Kazakh media.
He was received by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During the negotiations, Tokayev emphasized that this historic visit to Kazakhstan marks a new era in bilateral relations.
“Kazakhstan is very interested in promoting comprehensive cooperation with your country,” the president noted.
During the meeting, the head of state outlined the main areas on which Kazakhstan and Togo might focus their joint efforts.
Tokayev noted that it is necessary to establish a constant dialogue to advance the bilateral and international agenda.
