A power plant in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahwaz caught fire on Saturday following an explosion, Report says, citing TASS.
The explosion occurred at a power plant in Ahwaz's al-Zirqan district.
The power plant caught fire due to a "transformer explosion," said Ebrahim Ghanbari, the head of the Ahwaz municipality's fire and safety services.
"The extent of the fire is still unknown."
