Political scientist: West seeking to incite panic in Georgia

The current situation among the US, some Western countries, and Georgia is shifting in new directions, Badri Nachkebia, a political scientist and honored journalist of Georgia, told Report.

Nachkebia highlighted that Western countries are threatening Georgia with severe sanctions and attempting to incite internal panic.

“I believe we will emerge from these challenging times with our heads held high. It is not surprising that the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament [Shalva Papuashvili] stated that the country is not a US state.”

Nachkebia warned that if this situation persists, Georgia will face significant hardships.

“However, improving relations with China could help alleviate some of these difficulties. I trust that Georgian diplomacy will manage this situation,” Nachkebia highlighted.
