Peskov: Russian and Ukrainian negotiators to continue their talks on March 17

The contacts between the Russian and Ukrainian negotiators on the situation in Ukraine will continue throughout March 17, Spokesman of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told journalists, Report informs, citing TASS.

"The negotiations are expected to continue today. I do not know whether or not they are underway, but they are expected to be held in these or other directions," Peskov said.

According to the Kremlin official, the Russian delegation is ready to work round-the-clock at the talks with Ukraine, but the Ukrainian side does not demonstrate the same zeal.

"Our delegation led by [Russian President's Assistant Vladimir] Medinsky, including experts and respective agencies, is ready to work round-the-clock and it demonstrates this readiness. Unfortunately, we do not see a similar zeal from the Ukrainian side," Peskov said.
