Russian President's aide Nikolai Patrushev doesn't consider discussions about Donald Trump using military force to resolve territorial issues during his presidency to be justified, Report informs.
He was speaking in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper.
He added that Trump has indicated his interests regarding Greenland, the Panama Canal, Mexico, and Canada.
"Reshaping the world map to suit their interests and interfering in the affairs of countries across different continents is an American tradition. At the same time, talks about Trump sending armed forces to conquer new states for the US can hardly be called justified. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that the new administration will very aggressively push its own interests in all these directions," he noted.
