Armenia has proposed Azerbaijan to sign and ratify the agreed points of the peace treaty, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, Report informs referring to Armenian media.
"Thirteen out of seventeen articles of the peace treaty, as well as the introduction, have been fully agreed upon. Three articles have been partially agreed upon. There is an article, the wording of which has been mostly agreed upon. We propose signing all these articles as a peace treaty. We presented our proposal to Baku yesterday," Pashinyan said at an online press conference on August 31.
"No document in the world can reflect all possible issues, no document can provide answers to all questions. We propose signing and ratifying, and continuing the discussion of the remaining possible issues. The agreed articles contain a mechanism that makes it possible to discuss all issues related to the implementation of the peace treaty on a permanent platform. It is assumed that after signing the agreement, the parties will establish diplomatic relations, which will become an additional platform for discussing issues," the Armenian prime minister said.
