Pashinyan: Yerevan agrees not to deploy third-party forces on Armenia-Azerbaijan border

Yerevan agrees not to deploy third-country forces on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border after the completion of the delimitation process, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with Armenpress, Report informs.

"We propose to extend the provision on non-deployment of third-country forces to the delimited sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and this is logical since the risk of escalation in these sections is significantly reduced through delimitation, if not reduced to a minimum," he said. "Thus, after complete border delimitation, there will be no need for third forces on any section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and the Republic of Armenia proposes such logic."
