Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has urged to stop using 'genre' of a 'letter to the Russian tsar' in any situation when solving state problems, Report informs via Sputnik-Armenia.
Speaking at a press conference in Yerevan, Pashinyan said that it is not always correct and honest to turn to Moscow, Washington or Brussels when solving problems. According to him, it is necessary to clearly designate the zone of their responsibility.
"Moscow's position has very frank accents. If we translate from the diplomatic language, they tell us, 'you are a country with the 30-year independence, how long will you turn to Moscow over various issues? But we got used to that. We even have such a 'genre' of 'a letter to the Russian tsar.' So, how long will we live like that?" the Armenian prime minister asks.
He noted that Armenia, as an independent state, should make the next step on the path to adulthood.
"We should solve our problems independently," the prime minister said.
