Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has proposed signing a peace agreement with Azerbaijan simultaneously with a declaration to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group, to be addressed to the OSCE.
Report informs that speaking in parliament, Pashinyan said the draft "Agreement on Peace and the Establishment of Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan" has been agreed upon, and the parties have entered the stage of discussions regarding its signing.
"Azerbaijan, on an official level, ties the signing of the agreement to two issues—one of which is the dissolution of the structures of the OSCE Minsk Group. I have repeatedly stated that this agenda is acceptable to the Republic of Armenia. If we are closing the chapter on the Karabakh conflict—and we are—then what is the purpose of a structure dealing with the Karabakh conflict?" said Pashinyan.
