Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is switching to practical steps in the fight against the high clergy. He wants to create a coordination group to remove the Catholicos of All Armenians, Report informs referring to Armenian media.
The first ten members of the group will be chosen by the prime minister himself, he wrote on social networks.
The prime minister has been accusing Garegin II of violating his vow of celibacy for several days now and has stated that he must vacate the post of head of the church.
