Pashinyan affirms constructive relations with Putin

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reaffirmed his longstanding constructive ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of Russia’s Federation Council, in Yerevan, Report informs.

Matviyenko shared this insight at a briefing on the results of the talks with Armenian Prime Minister. She noted the conversation with Pashinyan took place in an atmosphere of trust.

"Today there was a very long one-on-one meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, it was a very meaningful, constructive, friendly conversation... Prime Minister Nikol Vovayevich conveyed his greetings to the head of our state and especially emphasized that there have always been constructive substantive relations between him and Vladimir Vladimirovich and will continue to be so, and there are no problems in his relationship with the president," the chairwoman said.

Matviyenko also announced that she will meet with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan today.
