Over 40 Armenian servicemen killed in non-combat conditions after Karabakh declaration

After the Karabakh declaration signed between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia on November 10, 2020, 42 servicemen of the Armenian army died in non-combat conditions.

Report informs, citing Razminfo, that 42 deaths were related to suicide, illness, car accidents, homicides, and violations of safety rules because of the handling of weapons.

During this period, three servicemen of the Armenian army went missing. One of them, conscript Norik Mkrtchyan, left his military unit on May 18 and has not been found since. On July 14, communication with servicemen A.Nakbandian and A.Torozyan was cut off in Syunik province. To date, there is no news from the military.
