At least 253 people were injured in a day as a result of a sandstorm in the province of Sistan and Balochistan in southeastern Iran, Director General of the Crisis Department of the province Majid Mohebi said
"Since 06:00 (GMT +3:30) today, 253 people have contacted the province's medical centers. At least eight of them had to remain under the supervision of specialists," he said.
Mohebi also warned that due to meteorological conditions, it is recommended to minimize the amount of time spent outdoors and be careful on the road.
