OSCE officials discuss Azerbaijan-Armenia relations

The acting chairman of the OSCE and the heads of foreign affairs of the member countries discussed tension on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border on September 12-13, Report informs, citing the OSCE website.

OSCE Secretary General Helga Maria Schmidt took part in the meeting along with OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Zbigniew Rau, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde, Foreign Minister of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani.

According to the information, the diplomats spoke about the importance of more active participation of the OSCE in this direction. They pointed out that the continuation of peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia with the mediation of the European Union is urgent and reminded of the experience of the OSCE in the region in this regard.

The meeting took place within the framework of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
