The first phase of the Russian offensive in the Donbas has already begun, and additional Russian forces are expected to arrive for the second phase, said Oleksiy Arestovych, adviser to the head of Ukraine's presidential administration, Report informs via Ukrainian media.
Arestovych stresses that Russia will try to launch simultaneous attacks from the north and south.
Earlier, Oleksiy Arestovych said that heavy fighting would take place in the Donbas in the coming two weeks, determining the fate of the next stage of the war.
