Official Kyiv is offering to start preparations for a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhaylo Podolyak, told a briefing, Report informs, citing UNIAN.
"In principle, preparations for the meeting of the presidents may be kicked off. A package of documents has been drafted. We have already presented them. It is still unknown when a meeting between the presidents will take place," he said.
Podolyak said that the work of the working sub-groups on negotiations between Russia and Ukraine is continuing.
Davyd Arakhamia, the head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling People's Servant Party of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada, said that enough material had been collected for the meeting of the presidents.
