Office of President of Ukraine: “The war will not end until Russia loses”

"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has set two programs: minimum and maximum," Mykhailo Podolyak, the Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President said in an interview with the Zerkalo publication, Report informs.

"The minimum program proposed by the president is the withdrawal of Russian troops to the position of February 23. After that, we can start peace talks, where we can discuss all the claims against each other. The maximum task is the territorial integrity of Ukraine within the internationally recognized borders, the defeat of Russia, and making the change. Otherwise, Russia will carry out toxic propaganda and try to resume a new war with a revanchist mood. This is the problem," he stressed.

Podolyak said that the war will continue until Ukraine proves the need for Russia to leave its territories: “It is very complicated and difficult. Every day our heroic sons die to prove it. These people create additional value for the state. Our people are like that. They perish. It means that we are losing what is extremely important for Ukraine. This is our golden treasure. It is impossible to find a mechanism that will reduce the price that we pay. I do not care how much the Russian Federation pays. This is a high price for us. However, we will fight until Russia loses."
