Office of President of Ukraine: Russia needs immediate operational pause, not peace

Russia does not need peace, agreements, or war, said Mykhailo Podolyak, Adviser to the Head of the Office of President of Ukraine, Report informs.

"Russia needs an immediate operational pause, fake 'negotiations' to gain a foothold in the occupied territories, rebuild the army, carry out mobilization, organize several frightening provocations in Europe (thus reducing support for Ukraine), and most importantly – to preserve itself as the ruling elite in Russia itself... Therefore, stop showing political infantilism, mentioning possible 'political-diplomatic formats of conflict settlement.' It is not a conflict at all, but a full-scale war, where the aggressor must necessarily lose. The only guarantee for complete peace and de-escalation is weapons, weapons and more weapons for Ukraine. This is the reality," he said on X.
