Iranian law enforcement forces have detained 10 suspects in connection with a terror attack at the Shah Cheragh mosque, located in the city of Shiraz, Fars province, Report informs referring to Tasnim agency.
"At the moment, Fars provincial security forces have detained 10 suspects in connection with the attack. The operation to identify other persons involved in the incident continues," the agency said, citing law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, the head of Fars Provincial Justice Department, Seyyed Kazem Mousavi, announced the arrest of four suspects in connection with the terror attack at the mosque.
On August 13, Iranian media reported that two terrorists carried out an attack, resulting in deaths and injuries.
This is the second terror attack in this mosque. The previous one was committed at the end of October 2022: then five unknown people opened fire. As a result of the incident, 13 people died and 45 were injured.
