Noble Partner 2022 defence drills kick off in Georgia 

The Noble Partner defence drills, in which the United States also participates, have kicked off in Georgia, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.

“The purpose of the drills is to increase readiness and coordination between Georgia, the United States, regional partners and allies to ensure a stable and secure environment in the Black Sea region,” the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

More than 2,400 service members from Georgia, the United States, Japan, Sweden, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Greece, the United Kingdom, Turkiye, Slovakia, Norway, Hungary, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, and Poland have been involved in the exercises.

The opening ceremony of the drills was held in the Vaziani military base near Tbilisi.
