Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky delivered his first speech in his new post, Report informs, citing UNIAN.
The army needs "clear and detailed planning," he said, "taking into account the needs of the frontline for the latest weapons supplied by international partners.".
According to the general, the task of the headquarters is to know the needs of the front and monitor the situation in each sector: "The most valuable thing of the Ukrainian army is the life and health of the servicemen. Therefore, it is more important than ever to conduct combat tasks in parallel with intensive personnel training."
Syrsky said that the use of unmanned systems and modern electronic warfare is one of the most important factors in winning the war.
