Nearly 500 people affected by dust storms in Iran over past 2 days

About 500 people have been injured over the past two days as a result of a strong dust storm in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan (Iran), Report informs referring to Tasnim.

“Some 488 people turned to medical centers, 64 of them were hospitalized, the rest received outpatient treatment,” said the chief head of the crisis headquarters of the province, Majid Mohebbi.

The head of the meteorological service of the province, Mohsen Heydari, said that in Zabol city of this province, the maximum recorded wind speed was 94 kilometers per hour, and in the city of Zahak - 79 kilometers per hour.
