NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced at a press conference today that he will visit Georgia in the near future, Report informs via Georgian Public Broadcaster.
“Georgia is a valued NATO partner. We strongly believe that Georgia has rights, as all European countries, to choose its path. I visited Georgia several times, I will visit Georgia again in the near future to further strengthen our partnership. My message to Georgia is reforms, which, of course, are important. NATO is based on some core values – democracy, the rule of law – and it is important that Georgia live up to these standards as moves towards further Euro-Atlantic integration,“ NATO Secretary General stated.
