NATO may send humanitarian mission to Ukraine

NATO may send a humanitarian mission to Ukraine, Canadian Minister of National Defense Anita Anand told reporters, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.

"This issue can be a topic of discussion at today's meeting. I am in favour of a peaceful solution to the crisis," she said.

Earlier, the alliance repeatedly stated that NATO supports Ukraine, but does not intend to directly intervene in the conflict.

A meeting of the allied defense ministers will be held today at NATO headquarters in Brussels.
