The 59th Munich Security Conference begins today in Germany.
Report informs that one of the conference panels is devoted to security issues in the South Caucasus.
A panel discussion on the topic "Ensuring Security in the South Caucasus" will take place on February 17. OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmidt and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili are expected to attend.
The conference will such topical issues as the war in Ukraine, issues of energy and water security, combating climate change, etc.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Charles Michel, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and others will attend the Munich Security Conference.
The event will end on February 19.
